Skylight Blind for Velux

A skylight blind is a specialized window covering designed specifically for skylights, which are windows installed in the roof to provide natural light and ventilation. These blinds are custom-made to fit skylights’ unique shape and size, ensuring a perfect match and effective coverage. Skylight blinds serve several purposes, including controlling the amount of sunlight entering the room, regulating indoor temperature by blocking out heat or providing insulation, offering UV protection to prevent sun damage to interior furnishings, and enhancing the overall aesthetics of the space.

Skylight blinds come in various colours, patterns, and materials to complement different interior styles. They can be operated manually with a rod or motorized for convenience, allowing for remote control or integration into home automation systems. Overall, skylight blinds provide a practical and stylish solution for managing light, heat, and privacy in rooms with skylights, offering both functional benefits and aesthetic appeal. We make and supply blinds for all leading brands, such as Velux, Keylite, Fakro, Okpol, Roto, and others. We supply manufacturer’s original blinds and also offer our best-value own-brand dream blinds for all leading brands.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Outstanding service from beginning to end. Sandra went through all the options of different blinds and shutters to me. Jason who measured the windows gave great advice with colours and types that would work well in my house. Susan was an absolute doll to deal with and very patient. Thank you Sue! Petru and Mama arrived on time to install them and were very efficient, explained how they worked and left the place spotless. I'm weak for the new shutters, 10 out of 10 to all at Acme Blinds, Douglas. Thank you so much!!! Pauline

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent service from beginning to end. Bernie and Brendan in the Midleton office were excellent to deal with and Mike and Alannah couldn't have been nicer or more professional when they came to install the blinds.

Absolutely delighted with our experience with Acme Blinds. Sue in the office was brilliant to deal with, and our fitters Petru and Mama did a fantastic job. We had tiles fitted after Ryan had originally called out to take the measurements, which changed the dimensions slightly and made the fitting more difficult. Petru was able to alter everything on the day to get it fitting perfectly and made a fantastic job of it. Really impressed with the workmanship and attention to detail. Very pleased with the finished result and would highly recommend Acme Blinds. Thanks again to the whole team!
