Wooden Venetian Blinds

Ecowood blinds are window coverings designed to mimic the appearance of real wood, made from synthetic materials such as PVC or composite wood. These blinds offer the aesthetic appeal of natural wood with added durability and moisture resistance, making them ideal for high-humidity areas like kitchens and bathrooms. They are also more affordable and easier to maintain than real wood blinds. Choosing between Ecowood and real wood Venetian blinds depends on budget, aesthetics, durability, and maintenance.

Ecowood blinds are more affordable, moisture-resistant, durable, and easy to clean, making them ideal for humid areas like kitchens and bathrooms. However, they are heavier and lack the authentic look of real wood. Real wood blinds offer a natural, warm aesthetic, are lighter, and can be customized, but they are more expensive, require careful maintenance, and are less suited for humid environments. If durability and cost are priorities, go for Ecowood; for a natural look in dry areas, choose real wood.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Outstanding service from beginning to end. Sandra went through all the options of different blinds and shutters to me. Jason who measured the windows gave great advice with colours and types that would work well in my house. Susan was an absolute doll to deal with and very patient. Thank you Sue! Petru and Mama arrived on time to install them and were very efficient, explained how they worked and left the place spotless. I'm weak for the new shutters, 10 out of 10 to all at Acme Blinds, Douglas. Thank you so much!!! Pauline

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent service from beginning to end. Bernie and Brendan in the Midleton office were excellent to deal with and Mike and Alannah couldn't have been nicer or more professional when they came to install the blinds.

Absolutely delighted with our experience with Acme Blinds. Sue in the office was brilliant to deal with, and our fitters Petru and Mama did a fantastic job. We had tiles fitted after Ryan had originally called out to take the measurements, which changed the dimensions slightly and made the fitting more difficult. Petru was able to alter everything on the day to get it fitting perfectly and made a fantastic job of it. Really impressed with the workmanship and attention to detail. Very pleased with the finished result and would highly recommend Acme Blinds. Thanks again to the whole team!
