Acme Blinds supplied a bespoke 4 season awning for the main hotel and awnings for the Glasshouse Cocktail Bar , offering seamless light control, ventilation, and weather protection for customers.
Acme Blinds was proud to collaborate with The Montenotte Hotel, Cork City, to deliver bespoke outdoor shading solutions that elevate their hospitality experience. Our installations include premium awnings and a Four Seasons awning over the main restaurant, as well as custom awnings for the stunning Glasshouse cocktail bar, ensuring guests enjoy comfort, style, and functionality year-round.
The Glasshouse is a standout feature of the Montenotte gardens—a high-end, standalone cocktail bar with panoramic views over Cork city. With a sweeping outdoor staircase, a custom-built footbridge, and a striking glass façade, it presented a unique challenge for shading. Acme Blinds provided tailor-made awnings that integrate seamlessly with the bar’s striking design, enhancing usability without compromising aesthetics.
Our Four Seasons awning on the main restaurant delivers a flexible solution for al fresco dining in all weather conditions, allowing staff and guests to enjoy the space comfortably whether rain, shine, or chill. The bespoke awnings on the Glasshouse terrace combine durability with elegance, offering protection from sun and wind while maintaining uninterrupted views of the Victorian Sunken Gardens.
Collaboration was key to this project’s success. Working closely with the Montenotte team, we customised each installation to complement the architectural design and high standards of quality. From concept to installation, our focus remained on delivering practical, stylish solutions that enhance both guest comfort and operational functionality.
